NBCT Network Learning Series: Pre-Candidacy Support What are the strengths and gaps in your candidate support system? Intentional Systems for Effective Pre-Candidate Professional Learning
Purpose 1. Create systems of support through the NBCT Networks that can bring National Board to scale within each context. • Create the vision of the National Board program focused on instructional improvement and student learning. • Design a system that utilizes high quality professional learning. 2. Share resources and best practices across the NBCT Network systems. • Continue to use the Facebook NBCT Networks Group site to communicate. • Utilize a google folder system to share resources connected to this webinar series. 3. Provide feedback to the National Board regarding system development. . • Provides inputs as we develop plans for future CSP, NBCT Leadership and NBCT Network support.
Outcomes In this webinar, Networks will: • Think about systems of support for candidates in the revised assessment. – Determine system level strengths and gaps – Template to capture thinking • Access tools and resources for next steps to improve systems of support for candidates – Examples of effective pre candidate professional learning from the field – Tools to help develop effective professional learning
