How to use Naviance during the college application process 1. Research colleges and add them to “colleges I’m thinking about” 2. Once you have narrowed down your list, you can move all schools from “colleges I’m thinking about” to “colleges I’m applying to”

Example of Colleges I’m Applying To page 1. Request transcripts before you have submitted your applications. Do not request it for CSUs or UCs unless the school requests it from you. 2. Request at least 2 letters of recommendation from teachers for privates. You can also send a short message to teachers letting them know when you need the letters by. 3. Guidance advisors are required to write letters of recommendation, too. You must meet with us at least three weeks before you submit your applications.
