Research Findings INDICATOR FINDINGS Regulation on utilizing of Policy Analyst Most of the ministries, agency and local government don’t have specific regulation that regulated the existence of Policy analyst. Organization infrastructure readiness in utilizing policy analyst Most of the ministries, agency and local government don’t have business process or technical regulation on policy analyst and they don’t have specific understanding on management of policy analyst. Especially about policy analyst’s products. Supervisor perception on utilizing of Policy Analyst Most of leader or supervisor don’t have comprehensive understanding on policy analyst function, they tend to get confused in utilizing policy analyst. As an impact of the lack of comprehensive understanding, makes the leader or supervisor can’t provide support properly Quality and Capacity of Policy Analyst Most of the policy analyst has understood the role and function of his position, but is still very limited in processing his work into the required activity unit. Recommendations NIPA as agency that has responsibilities to develop the PA has to work closely with Ministry of Government Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform to create innovative ways to place PA in a strategic route of decision making process and ‘force’ decision makers to use and take advantage of PA’s existence.
