National Incident Management System (NIMS) § NIMS provides a consistent and common nationwide approach

National Incident Management System (NIMS) § NIMS provides a consistent and common nationwide approach and vocabulary to enable the whole community to work together and manage all threats and hazards. § NIMS applies to all incidents, regardless of cause, size, location, or complexity. § FEMA released the third edition of NIMS in October 2017. 3
