National Geospatial Advisory Committee Update FGDC Coordination Group May 6, 2008

NGAC Purpose The Committee will provide advice and recommendations on federal geospatial policy and management issues and provide a forum to convey views representative of partners in the geospatial community Under Federal Advisory Committee Act rules, will function solely as an advisory body, providing recommendations on effective management of Federal geospatial programs. In particular, it will provide advice on the development of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI). 2
