Rework and Supply • Issue, track and refurbish all NIRSC equipment, accessories and kits • Maintain parts and supplies for all NIRSC equipment
Maintenance • Will at all times maintain enough radio communications equipment to support requests for deployment to the field • Maintain all NIRSC equipment to NIRSC specifications • Thoroughly test and voice test all equipment after each issue
Communications Operations • Maintain the capability to respond with qualified personnel to any type of incident regardless of the agency involved • Coordinate and remain active with other response agencies such as Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Urban Search and Rescue (US&R), etc.
