Foreseen National activities Workshop: • This is foreseen to be a half day activity aimed to promote the MESA project especially to decision makers. During the workshop different stakeholders are invited to showcase the use of earth observation data in their different Departments. It is also during the workshop where MESA and its results is explained. Training : • Three (3) different training activities will be planned: • Training of the masses by the potential champion users • On the job training for intermediate level participants • DE course recommended for novice users. 08 - 09 July 2015, Gaborone

Foreseen National activities Training by Potential Champion users: • This activity offer potential champions an opportunity to demonstrate the level of their competence to by training their colleagues. • The training is targeted at technical people. Potential champions are not necessarily expected to reproduce what they were trained on during the regional training but demonstrate their understanding by applying knowledge on their local environment. • The attendants are taken through practical exercises on accessing processing and the use of SADC THEMA products for report writing. 08 - 09 July 2015, Gaborone
Foreseen National activities • On job training for intermediate • This activity offer NFP’s who attained intermediate competence level with an • opportunity to apply what they learned on their working environment with the support of the capacity building Co-Beneficiary at the NFP’s offices. • By the end of this activity the NFP’s should be able to utilise knowledge learned during the regional training in a working environment. 08 - 09 July 2015, Gaborone
