NASA Operational Messaging and Directory (NOMAD) » An agency-wide messaging and collaboration system providing Email, Calendaring, Webmail (Outlook Web Access – OWA), Instant Messaging (Microsoft) and Exchange access for handheld mobile devices » Approximately 50, 000 users across the Agency » Implemented a new and improved DR/COOP strategy 3 • In the event of a hurricane or other disaster, users will have access to their full mailboxes with only a two hour outage window • Procured, installed and configured a state-of-the-art Wide Area Network (WAN) Accelerators to enhance log shipping across the WAN

Outsourcing Desktop Initiative for NASA (ODIN) § Management and oversight for ODIN is provided by the ODIN Program Office § Successfully negotiated Delivery Order (DO) extensions § Seat pricing for the DOs is held constant at Year 3 (current) prices during the entire extension period (April 30, 2011) 5 § Total Estimated Savings through ODIN Extension Period is $23. 6 M
