Many eminent leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Dadabhai Naoroji, Motilal Nehru were eminent lawyers who focused on the legal fraternity of the country. They helped the society to regulate the legal principles and make the society a better place to live in. Through the study of law, one can bring the socioeconomic changes in the society. It helps to bring reformation and reconstruction in the legal society.

DIVERSITY IN CAEER OPPORTUNITIES • By pursuing law as a career, one becomes a lawyer also known as attorney or counselor in some parts of the world. The work of a lawyer is to litigate, to advise the clients on basis of certain legal services, to represent them on various legal matters. • One can also become a compliance analyst. The main function that such a person does is that they provide good management, efficient work load and risk management. • The most prestigious position through this profession is becoming a judge. A judge is highly respected in the society and given good furnishing facilities which further enhances their reputation and prestige in the society. • Also a law graduate can go for appearing the civil services exams. They can do so by clearing the famous exam of UPSC to be appointed on various posts like IAS, IPS etc.

Like criminal law, civil law, constitutional law etc. • It is due to the laws that people have become more obedient and responsible towards following every kind of rules and regulations. • The law makers are responsible for indirectly helping the people to regulate themselves their lives in a better way. • It is due to these formulation of laws that the society is able to modify itself through various changes. • Also stringent punishment is applied for the people who violate the provisions of law. • By this way the society can regulate more effectively and efficiently.

PRESTIGE • Law as a profession is very noble and prestigious because a large number of population of people depend upon the lawyers to provide them with justice, equity and good conscience. • The law as a career is never a cake walk. The law students have to first graduate, then pass the All India Bar examination and then they can enter into practice. • Law is the most powerful and prestigious profession because of the prestige, and dignity it holds. • In legal profession also, there is a need to be healed just like in a medical profession. • A doctor just heals the body but a lawyer heals the soul. • The job position of being a judge is way too rewarding as the judge himself gets the facilities which are too prestigious. • The judges impartially give their judgement without any kind of biases.

They work with utmost fairness, justice, equity. • Lawyers help to change the entire world through their legal advises. • They help to bring modifications in the behavior of a person or a group of persons thereby changing the world. • The lawyers help to deal with the victims, know their weaknesses and strengths and help them to lead a better life through such legal aid. • These lawyers bring the socio- economic changes, or brings the mental peace to the victims.

The lawyers have to deal with the logical reasoning, the day to day changes in the society and to advise the clients on the basis of these challenges faced in the society. • The lawyers have to briefly study the case to know its facts and circumstances under which it occurred so that they are able to present th ecase before the court in a precise manner and stating all the relevant facts and witnesses attached to it. • They have to keep track of the immediate changes in the case facts if any so that they are able to analyze it in a better way. • They have to handle the cases in a very patient manner without any kind of problems.

OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE WITHIN THE LEGAL FIELD • A practicing lawyer if wants can venture from one job to another. A law student who has freshly graduated can change his/her job positions according to his/her own wish. • He/she can venture from corporate jobs to criminal litigation, from private sector to PSU's etc. • If a law student after graduation wishes to pursue judiciary then he/she can also go for appearing the judicial service examination. • As the scope of this field is vast and wide so if one wants can venture from one legal position to another without any restrictions. • But it should be mandatory to keep on experimenting the job positions.

LOT OF TRAVELLING INVOLVED • Nowadays, the legal jobs involve a lot of travelling unlike the ancient time. The lawyers can travel a lot. They may travel within the state, outside the state, within the countries or even outside the countries. • A lawyer may travel to a District and Sessions Court, or even to the Supreme Court of India to present the case and solve it. • In case of international cases also they have to travel to outside countries or abroad to present it. • As a result, the lawyers travel a lot, from country to country, from state to state, from one chamber to another as the case may arise.

CONCLUSION • The nobility of the legal profession lies in the selfless efforts of the legal community in upholding justice and equity and to serve the society. • Various landmark judgements are also given which proves the aura of the legal profession. • It has rightly been said that law is universal and is applied in all the other fields. It is believed that even if all fail, one still has faith in the legal sysytem. • The dispensation of justice, equity and good conscience must be done to prove the worth of legal profession. • No kind of corrupt ideals or concepts must be involved in this fair justice equity sysytem.
