Strength points in this school got on an accreditation in primary and preparatory stages • there are two school libraries contains 4391 books in different branches – there are 3 science labs consisted of (scientific models, samples, chemicals for experiments, physical experiments, charts and pictures) •
• there are 3 computer laps contains (active board, data shows , educational videos , and drama)
• there are different types of activities in school such as sport activities( football , basket ball , swimming) , and artistic activities such as (drawing- singing – dramatization)
Weakness points in this school • • There is a great burden on teachers besides teaching Teachers have negative attitude towards any new training There is no social specialist trained to deal with students. The community involvement between the school and the local community is limited. • Courses obtained by school technology specialist is very old and not suitable for technological progress.
The aims of our first and second school visits • clarifying the aims and areas of our project for both the school principal and our target groups. • collecting data about our school in school profile. • applying needs assessment tool on Quality and Training Unit Officer, • Psychologist and social specialist , and on teachers in different subjects • designing focus group with teachers to determine their needs and difficulties facing them. • making interviews with different teachers in different Specializations

Need assessment tools • We applied closed questionnaire on teacher (26 teachers) , quality and training officials (2 teachers) , psychological and social specialist in school (2 teachers) to determine their needs on Wednesday 29112017 • We made interviews with 8 teachers in different subjects to 1 -determine their needs 2 - determine main points that they need to improve their performance. 3 -describe the teaching style that they use with students. 4 -determine the ways of their treating with classroom management and students with special needs. 5 - determine the educational aids and ways of evaluation that they use with students.
We designed a focus group and made brain storming session with 12 teachers in different subjects to 1 - determine the difficulties that face them during the school day. 2 - determine types of activities that they use with their students 3 - mention new trends in education that they use in class. 4 - determine types of classroom rules that they put in class 5 - determine their opinion about( using technology during teaching , using portfolio as authentic evaluation, and their opinion about teaching through teacher team work)
Our target groups training needs , and our observations during school visit Teachers The training needs They need different training of our target on: groups - using new technological programs during teaching - improving their class room management skills - new trends in teaching methods - new teaching methods for talented students - different ways of evaluation and how they make self evaluation to their activities Our observation During our applying needs assessment tools , we observed the following: - there are misconception for teachers about STEM , where teachers think that STEM in only designing models for any science concepts - they have a negative attitude towards working in professional learning community Social worker and Psychologist They need different training on : - Integrative therapy - student violence and how to deal with it - ways to discover individual cases - skills of dealing with talented student - designing portfolio for each case to determine the progress of these cases During our applying needs assessment tools , we observed the following: - they have negative attitude towards self assessment and working with team work , where they prefer to work individually - they have a negative attitude towards any new training.
