My understanding for the newest change in signs suggested by Vadim: Remember that the June-10 -2011 transport version has the “minimal” a 14 etc. whereas the July-28 -2011 has bigger a 14 etc. Vadim : Skew quad signs go back to those as used for the transport of June 10, 2011. Vadim : change the signs for the Quad. (Q 1/Q 2/Q 3) wrt to the “Summary of Field Angle Measurements in the Tunnel” for both Blue and Yellow. ie. change the signs for these Quads in Blue, compared to both June-10 -2011 and July-28 -2011. but in Yellow, since Steve has already changed the signs for the Yellow wrt the “Summary” (according to the usual convention for the Yellow beam). Therefore, the signs stay the same as of June-10 -2011 and July-28 -2011. Therefore changing both signs of Q 1/Q 2/Q 3 and skew quad. in Blue compared to July-282011 non-minimal a 14. changing only one sign (skew quad) in Yellow compared to July-28 -2011 and (actually) the same signs as June-10 -2011 minimal a 14. Expetected results (as the setting & optimization disagree in Blue but agree in 1 Yellow).
