My Presentation Isaac Branch

Practitioner • My practitioner is called Christopher Adams who owns a company called Impakt Studios. • He directs music videos • He’s worked with many artists who have won awards for their music. • He lives in Chicago USA

Kick Push – Music Video The video I looked at is called ‘Kick Push’. It caught my eye as it’s a skateboarding video which was good for two reasons. One, skateboarding is one of my many hobbies and two, I wanted my ‘Tell A Story’ music video to be a skateboarding video.

Good Points within my production • Filming at night the shots came out well • I added extra clips to break up the narrative • I managed my filming time well as other commitments were an issue • I adapted my narrative around a occurrence

Bad points within my production • Unfortunately I was really busy that month when the task was set • My actress got engaged so I could have her within my production

What I’ve learnt DON’T LEAVE EVERYTHING TO THE LAST MINUTE!!!

Show reel My show reel contains lots of footage due to my hobbies, previous projects from last year and random shots I've added for my show reel. My show reel shows that I have a range of footage which says that I’m capable of shooting different subjects.

Career development Carry on with my UAL course Take a year out to make a portfolio of my projects Promote it (send it to companies big and small) Be freelance for experience and something to do. Decide whether I should go to university
