The current task for this unit is to create a Power. Point presentation on a contents page featuring all the work from previous Level 3 work including the storyboard that contains pictures that was taken with a white background, my personal statement, what diversity means to me, the vlogging challenge and the three career jobs that I choose.

Diversity means understanding that each individual is unique, and recognizing our individual differences. These can be along. the dimensions of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, age, physical abilities, religious beliefs and political beliefs.

I am a hard working person that helps others who are struggling with pieces of work by being a team player towards my fellow colleagues. Before I attended City and Islington College I didn’t have much confidence when talking to other people but ever since I have studied in City and Islington College they have provided me with extra support that I am more than capable travelling from my house to college independently as well having better communication and improved confidence. I have studied here for 4 years and if this were a recommendation I would highly advise that first years attend CBAT. In my first year I decided to take part in Art and Design Level 1 Diploma because I have had a very keen interest for the creative arts for a long time. I created collages, sculptures, woodwork and wall art as well as for Art and Design Level 2. This/Next year I hope to achieve a Level 3 distinction for arts and then either try out university or go straight into the world of work. My hobbies are that I enjoy playing/watching football. On some occasions me and my family go to different stadiums to watch the football live for example we went to Wembley Stadium to watch England against Portugal when in the end England prevailed 1 -0. It was an enjoyable and atmospheric experience. I also enjoy watching animated TV series such as Family Guy and The Simpsons as well anime such as One Piece and Pokémon. Art and Design is my favourite subject because I like creating collages, sculptures and painting. I first attended Sacred Heart Primary School on Georges Road from the year 2001 to 2008. After I then attended Stormont House School in Hackney from 2008 to 2013. Finally I applied for City and Islington College (CBAT) and am currently studying from 2013 -present. When I was in year 10 I was first taught about the world of work by learning about different types of work that were available that would help students secure a future career. Firstly I was given a work placement in retail in Hackney Mare Street called Clarks. I was mainly working in the backroom rather than in the shop floor because I didn’t have the confidence to communicate with other people but my employees said that they were still pleased with how I wasn’t causing trouble and that how hard I was working. My strengths were that I worked well with other co-workers from helping them carry the stock that needed to be put up for sale and taking responsibility for others.

Arts Administrator- A career in arts administration combines interest in the arts with business expertise and fundraising skills. Photography- Photographers use a variety of photographic equipment to capture moments of events, people, objects or scenes for records, art or commercial use.

Yesterday the class were presented to two people who where associated with You. Tube and tasked us to create our own vlogs. The first of which would be about a movie/TV show review vlog and the second was talking about a subject relating to diversity. We were allowed to use our own phones but as I was using a Samsung GT-S 6310 N the quality did not turn out so well in the end. There are different types of vlogs all of which contain various topics such as political issues, travel vlogs and a guide vlog.

What is a You. Tuber? A You. Tuber is everyone from around the world recording footage like vlogs and gaming and then sharing it to others so that they can be influenced by it and would want to create video production in the future.
