Your Logo The SPEED Plus project I applied for the SPEED scheme to provide me with the information and coaching I needed to get my business off the ground. SPEED has been invaluable with equipping me with the tools I need to be a confident and successful entrepreneur. The training and mentoring is specifically aimed at new entrepreneurs with little or no knowledge of starting their own business, so everyone is in the same situation. Meeting with other new business owners at the monthly business clubs is a great way to build your confidence and networking skills. Since starting the programme I have developed my business online and offline and I am gradually building my brand reputation. What advice would you give graduates considering applying for SPEED Plus? Go for it! If you have a business idea and are looking for professional advice and support to develop it, then the SPEED+ programme can provide you with help you need. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes along the way, it is a really useful learning curve… the business world is more challenging than you can imagine! The Future My plans for the future are to continue to put my time and energy into growing the brand of my business and make a real impact on the market of vintage-style homeware. “Don’t be afraid to make mistakes along the way, it is a really useful learning curve… the business world is more challenging than you can imagine!“
