My favorite book Presentation prepared by Fokina Alina

My name is Alina. I’m love reading. Most of all I like novels. My favorite book is “Eugene Onegin” by Alexander Pushkin. This book is an encyclopedia of life, where you can learn everything by opening it for example: how people dressed, ate, how fun the life of that time was. Each character is interesting

Tatiana - a simple country girl, she is not beautiful, but pensive and dreaminess emit it among other people. Tatyana was considered to be “pretty ideal” of Pushkin.

Eugene Onegin —the central character of the novel, a brilliant capital aristocrat, "the heir of all his relatives" , he leads a life of idle, careless, independent, full of gourmet delights and varieties.

The novel was very elegant, simple but at the same time infinitely deep and versatile. A small passage from a novel: I write this to you - what more can be said? What more can I add to that one fact? For now I know it is in your power To punish me contemptuously for this act. But you, keeping for my unhappy lot Even one drop of sympathy Will not entirely abandon me. At first I wished to remain silent; Believe me, my shame, my agony, You never would have heard. As long as hope remained preserved That rarely, even once a week, I'd see you in our country house, To hear your voice, to hear you speak, To say a few words, and then To think, and think again All day, all night, until the next meeting
