My contentious issue: Creationism vs. Science

Introduction We were supposed to write up a wiki about a contentious/controversial issue. In my case, I chose the big bang theory. We were also supposed to talk about the points for and against each side. We were also supposed to make 5 closed questions which people would later answer for our survey. We were then supposed to write up a conclusion with a summary of the main points, the results from the survey and our own opinion about the topic.

For and against issue The information is valid and reliable because many other sources say the same thing. The for and against are both biased because no one knows what happened, it is just what people believe.

Sources I used the internet and a website called http: //www. big-bangtheory. com/ for the information for the big bang theory but I don’t know where I got the information from for against. They were both based on opinions because no one knows what happened so there aren’t many facts.

Survey summary 6 people replied to my survey and 5 people answered the questions. Many people agreed with each other with the answers. According to my survey, 80% of the people think that the big bang did happen. And 80% also think that scientists cannot recreate the big bang on any scale. Everyone said that if the big bang was real then that doesn't mean there is no God. Everyone also thinks that there could be a compromise between the two theories and no one thought that the scientists just made up the big bang without strong evidence.

Own opinion I believed in the creationism theory because I believe in my religion and I don’t think that scientists can predict what happened 13 billion years ago.

Conclusion My wiki has a title, introduction, for and against, 5 closed questions, a conclusion, pictures and an attachment with this presentation in it. It’s purpose is to debate the contentious issue that is the big bang theory. There are points for and against but no one knows what happened.
