Music video Pitch By Kayleigh woolacott
Genre • Country music, Dance/Electronic
Description of project • A women who is bored of her job daydreams about an island vacation, where she can do whatever she wants. I will make my video so that it relates to the lyrics and makes sense to whoever watches it.
Research I will need to do • I will need to find out camera angles and how to make it look like someone has been hit by a car by editing a video. • I will also research other songs that relate to the genre of my chosen song to see what they do in their music videos.
Lighting, Camera and Style of this genre • I will be using natural lighting and also very dull light in my music video when the music beat drops I will start using bright lights to make the happy part of the video more obvious to who ever watches it, it will set the mood much better.
Basic outline of narrative • A women that has a basic life that hates her 9 -5 job and daydreams at work of her being happy and doing whatever she wants to do going out not having to get up for work. • In my video I want to keep it as simple as I can by using close ups and l will use a medium shot when my actor walks down the beach.
Location • • College (maybe) Brighton beach and pier Moomoos Tumbrige wells Winter wonderland ice skating rink
Filming • There will be a few different locations that I will be filming in, for example I will film at college for the beginning and nearer the end it will be at the beach and nightclubs with friends.
Cast/Crew list (who is doing what) • • • Kayleigh Woolacott: in video and editing Sara Fouda: in video Molly Ann: in video Ella Mercado: in video Liam Miles: filming and in video
Equipment List/Props Equipment props IPhone X car Music Player Selfie stick Battery pack
Editing Style • I will be making it into separate clips and then editing them on premiere. In one scene It will be me getting hit by a car but I will edit this to make it look real I will film the car drive past in one clip and then in the next I will walk out into the road and bend my backwards so when I edit the two videos together I will blend my back onto the car bonnet
Potential problems • A problem I might face could be that the people I am thinking of using may not be very reliable for turning up when filming, I can ask someone I can rely on to avoid this problem • Another problem might be weather conditions for parts of my video it needs to be a dull dark day but most of the video needs bright sunlight.
