Hans Zimmer ● ● ● Born in Germany on September 12, 1957. Pioneered the use of electronic music with orchestral arrangements. His break-out moment was in 1988 when he scored Rain Man. The movie won the Oscar for best picture and best original score (best music). The very next year he scored the music for the Oscar winning Driving Miss Daisy. Scored the music for Lion King in the 90 s. He has also written for Gladiator, Last Samurai, Madagascar, and 100 s of other films. Hans Zimmer is one of the most decorated film composers in the history of music in movies.
