MUR 1 – Settlement Boundary Defined in Neighbourhood Plan INTENTS: • to show on a plan where the village boundary lies and to confine housing and other development to within the boundary unless it is suited to a countryside location • to confine development schemes within the boundary to no more 0. 2 Ha or 5 homes & no more than two storeys in height. "Acting today for a better tomorrow"
MUR 2 – Housing Site Allocations INTENTS: • to allocate X sites for housing development up to 2033 and to set out the key development requirements for each scheme (e. g. approx. housing number, design/landscape features, means of access) • in doing so, to secure greater protection from national policy to defend the village from speculative housing applications over the next few years "Acting today for a better tomorrow"
MUR 3 – Housing Mix INTENTS: • to balance the future mix of housing types in the village, as we have too many 4+ bed homes and not enough 3 bed homes "Acting today for a better tomorrow"

MUR 5 – Buildings of local interest INTENTS: • to identify buildings that may not be worthy of being nationally listed buildings but that have local importance, either because of their architectural (A), their historical/social (H) and/or their villagescape (V) value • to ensure that applicants are aware of these buildings and can demonstrate their proposals have taken into account the local value "Acting today for a better tomorrow"
MUR 6 – Local Green Spaces INTENTS: • to identify the village green as a Local Green Space to give it ‘green belt’ protection from development and to ensure that its special character is not harmed by adjoining development. "Acting today for a better tomorrow"
