18 -19 MTSS Procedures § Handout §Please utilize this process for all students. §Tier 2 Supports §Begin completing intervention fidelity log §This HAS to be done in order for Good Cause Exemption for NVKR. §Any questions?
MTSS Tier 2 Support and MTSS Tier 3 Support Meetings: §Our process has been streamlined into 2 parts. § Monthly Tier 2 Meetings: § At this meeting, as a PLC, you’ll discuss any and all students who are not meeting mastery OR are exceeding your 5 Essential/Mastery standards in each subject and/or SMART Goal/SLO. § Bi-Weekly MTSS Tier 3 Team Meetings: § At this meeting, as a school-wide PLC, we’ll discuss any and all students who are not meeting mastery OR are exceeding your 5 Essential/Mastery standards with Tier 2 supports in each subject and/or SMART Goal/SLO.
Tier 2 Meeting Agenda: §Along with streamlining our agenda, we need to do the same for our Tier 2 Supports meeting. §See handout. §Grade levels will fill this out each month at Tier 2 grade level meeting. § Leadership/MTSS Grade Level Rep do not need to email out this agenda to everyone prior to this meeting. § MTSS Grade Level Rep will need to UPLOAD a copy of the agenda with student information to the shared drive utilizing the date of the meeting: § Shared Drive § MTSS § Grade Level Tier 2 § In this section you save it by that date. § The reason for uploading it to the shared drive, is that all parties will have access and it can be utilized during MTSS Tier 3 Support Meetings.
What is NOT an Intervention: §Additional homework §Leveled Readers §Small group instruction §Centers §Scaffolding/modifying assignments §Manipulatives §Reading with a volunteer
Interventions!!!!! §Tier 2 Support Needed: § LLI – Fountas & Pinnell Literacy Intervention §Tier 3 Support Needed: § Phonics First *We realize that these interventions may not be what an individual student needs, after collecting data, we can discuss and change supports. § Math Intervention!!!!! DREAMBOX § Our MTSS Tier 3 Support Team will meet and finalize expectations by Tier.
SPP – Survey!!! §Data Meeting §Sept 11 th §Survey from staff that will help us align our SPP. §Please take this survey by Friday so we can calculate results and incorporate into SPP.
