What are the Services? Ø Group study rooms Students may use the self-service system to reserve group study rooms. Bring your copy reservation YOU MUST USE YOUR OFFICIAL Mt. SAC Student Email address. Ø Check Out Books, Media and Other Items Students may check out up to ten items for three weeks. To borrow material, you must have your Mt. SAC student ID. Ø Find Periodical Literature in Print and Online newspapers, magazines, and journals. Located in the periodicals room. Ø Make Copies Photocopy machines and printers are available. Black & White copy costs $0. 08 per page using a print card. In cash it costs: $0. 10 per page.
What are the services? Ø Computer print out You must purchase a copy card in order to print from the computers. Purchase copy cards in the Copier Room. The cost of the copy card is $1. 00 and there is a one-time fee of $0. 50 for this card. Cost of Copies $0. 08 per page and color copies $0. 25 each. Ø Use of Library computers #1 -42 is limited to LIBRARY RESEARCH ONLY and computers from #43 -50 may be used for E-MAIL or LIBRARY RESEARCH. Time: 15 min time limit on these computers. Ø Workshop Improve your search results and learn how to evaluate sources. They are offered on different days and at different times throughout the semester. Use the online sign-up form to reserve a spot. Located in Library, room 238. Time: 75 minutes. You must bring something to write with and your research assignment if you have one. Only for enrolled MT. SAC students. Ø Notify the Library personnel if you are experiencing any problems with the equipment. .

Important information The Library reserves the right to view your computer screen. Absolutely NO inappropriate materials are allowed to be downloaded and/or viewed on any computers in the Library. MT. SAC does not officially provide wireless service. As a result, it is not available in all buildings or areas. Inside the Library Food, drinks and/or tobacco products are not permitted in the Library. Students are responsible for any damage to equipment resulting from misuse or accident. Students are prohibited from any attempts to repair equipment in the Library. The use of cell phones is strictly prohibited in the Library. The Library will close at the posted time.
