Changes �The biggest change in the 1920’s was ELECTRICITY �Electricity was invented and soon spread around cities all over the USA EFFECT �Factories and homes had a reliable energy source �Factories could run 24 hours a day �People working more= more money �People earned more money �Why/How? � Worked longer hours � Strikes and Unions demanded people receive fair wages Effect �People had money to buy things they wanted not just things they needed �People had money to go out and do things- see shows, games, fights, etc.

Effect � Peoples lives improved � People had more products � Debt increased
