STANDARD 9 B. 1. 1 ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT § The Surgical Services shall be organised, directed and coordinated with other services in the Facility to provide a high standard of inpatient and outpatient care to the community in a safe, efficient, effective, evidence based and caring manner and with due regard for the needs, dignity and privacy of patients and confidentiality of their personal information. The Surgical Services shall be easily accessible and continuity of care assured.
