Schooley’s Classroom Rules ● Be ON TIME. ○ ○ School is now starting later so there is no excuse for being tardy. Classes are shorter so you will miss vital information. Please come to each class on time. ● Log in to your lessons from a quiet, distraction-free room. ○ There should NOT be TV, video games, or music blaring in the background. Try as best as you can to eliminate distractions from siblings and pets.

Schooley’s Classroom Rules ● Cameras MUST be on and MUTED. ○ ○ I must be able to see you at all times during the lesson. This is in order to verify that you are in the class and participating. I will be scrolling through constantly to see whose camera is not on, and WILL alert your parents AND Mr. Mark and Ms. Liz. ● Proper attire must be worn. ○ ○ ○ You do not have to wear uniforms for now, but administration HAS said that if the clothing situation gets out of hand you WILL be required to wear a Somerset shirt to each lesson. If you don’t want that to happen, keep it respectful. No undershirts, pajamas, hoods, etc. may be worn during a lesson.

Schooley’s Classroom Rules ● Students MUST be sitting upright, at a desk or table. ○ You CANNOT attend a lesson while lying in bed. This is the same as putting your head down in class. It is rude and disrespectful, and you cannot be taking the notes or absorbing the information that is necessary to pass if you are lounging in bed during a class. ● Bathroom ○ ○ You must ask me before using the bathroom. Please send me a chat (it will be private) and I will give you permission. Just like in school you will have 5 minutes to use the restroom. Remember class is SHORT and you have 10 minutes between classes- please try to use the bathroom at that time!

Schooley’s Classroom Rules ● Do not use the chat box for irrelevant conversation with classmates. ○ ○ If there is a lot of this going on, it will only be opened when I ask you to respond to a question. Remember that the chat box is a saved record, so be careful what you type in there! Make sure it is appropriate. ● Do not annotate on the screen without being asked. ○ At times I may ask you to type an answer into a document, or something of that nature, but if you have not been instructed to, do not use the annotate feature.

Schooley’s Classroom Rules ● Any disruptive behavior may lead to you being removed from the lesson. ○ ○ The video of your behavior will be sent to Mr. Mark and Ms. Liz, and they will decide the consequences. Remember, you are being recorded at all times, so don’t say or do anything you wouldn’t want your parents to see. ● While sessions are recorded by the system, YOU are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN from recording them. ○ This is a LEGAL issue that has to do with privacy laws. DO NOT RECORD LESSONS.

Assignments ● NO LATE WORK will be accepted!!! ● Please check my website DAILY! I will continue to update it. ● EVERYTHING will be posted on my website!
