§ December 7, 1941, Japanese fighter planes attacked the U. S. base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, launching one of the deadliest attacks in American history § Almost ½ of the casualties that happened during Pearl Harbor occurred on the U. S. § Each student pick one symbol that we have discussed –or- one of your own that is approved by Ms. Morrison. § Research further into all aspects of this symbol. § On a poster board draw this symbol or print out a picture and glue it onto the poster board. § Label each aspect of the symbol and what the different aspects stand for or symbolize. § Include a short summary of the history and background of the symbol on your poster board. § We will turn in and share our poster boards with the class next Wednesday, October 26 th.
