TISD Grading Policy Progress Reports will be sent home every 3 weeks and should be signed and returned to your child’s homeroom teacher. Graded papers will be sent home weekly in your child’s. Wednesday folder. Report cards are sent home once per nine weeks. Please check the online gradebook (Home Access Center) to keep up with grades. In core areas of Language Arts, Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies, students must maintain a 70 average for the year in order to be passing the grade level. Quizzes, classwork, and homework are daily grades: 40% of the report card grade. Tests, projects and Notice & Note assignments are major grades: 60% of the report card grade. 90 – 100 = A 80 – 89 = B 75 – 79 = C 70 – 74 = D 0 -69 = F
