Math q We are implementing the Everyday Math program q Place value, Multiplication, Division, Algebra, Fractions/Decimals, Measurement, Geometry, Data, Probability, and Problem Solving. q By the end of fifth grade, your child should know multiplication and division facts up to 12. It is important that your child practices their math facts each night and keeps up with their study link assignments. q Please write me a note on their study links or email me if they are unable to do it. I will work with them during recess or any free time throughout the day or math period. q Your child has a everydaymathonline. com user name and password. Clipping for Success · This year we are using the “Clip-Up/Clip-Down” system as our incentive for good behavior. Students all have the opportunity to have a “stay on green” day but also have a chance to go above and beyond by “clipping up”. · Each month there will be a Mystery Reward that all students can participate in provided they earn the appropriate amount of points. Point determination is based on days of school that month (this will change each month). All students start with a point each day and have the chance to earn more. If students don’t earn enough points, they will have an alternate activity during the Mystery Reward.
