About Me � Originally from Morgan Hill, California � Attended MJC and then Fresno State � Majored in Agriculture Science � This is my 17 th year teaching, 6 th year at FRHS � I most recently taught the last 10 years at San Benito High School in Hollister California � I am most excited to be working with FFA/ Agriculture Students and am looking forward to supporting them be competitive in a multitude of contests and leadership roles.
My World My favorite things in life include: kids, cows, family, riding horses, watching my kids rodeo and play sports.

Food Science � � Curriculum Food Science to Cooking Teaching students the basics in the kitchen � � Safety, food safety, basic ID of utensils and equipment Understanding how food is grown and processed � Expectations: Come to class prepared � � � pen/pencil paper binder to hold handouts/notes SAE Project/ FFA Activities CHROMEBOOK
FFA In California FFA is an intracurricular activity, what that means for your student is: � All students are automatically enrolled in FFA when in an agriculture class � All students must have an SAE project � All students must keep and maintain and FFA Record book � SAE= Supervised Agriculture Experience � Livestock projects, field crops, work for any agriculture or natural resources entity. Laboratory projects, shop projects, research and agriscience projects � SAE projects are one of the many ways students can be recognized in FFA- proficiency awards, degrees, contests � CDE Contests are available for leadership development � Conferences are available for leadership development � Becoming an officer is additional way that students can become involved
