My Wife Married Brittney Jones on October 6, 2006. Brit went to High School at Heritage Academy in Mesa. She is a hairstylist at Karrma Salon in Gilbert. She is also a college student, working towards a Masters Degree in Speech Therapy.

Mr. Johnson the Teacher *I’ve taught at Basha from 2008 to Present. (12 years) *I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from ASU in 2008 and Masters from NAU in 2010. *I’ve taught AP World History since 2009, (9 years) and served as an AP Reader, scoring the exam with college professors and other experienced AP teachers, since 2014. (4 years) *I was recognized as a National Board Certified Teacher in 2018. AP World History Exam Scores National Average – 2. 98 Arizona Average – 2. 68 Basha Average– 3. 19! AP World is offered, in over 90% of schools nationwide, to 10 th graders. Basha 9 th graders outperform 10 th graders across the United States, with 68% of our students earning college credit!

Freshman Girls and Boys Tennis Freshman Tennis is a NO CUT Fall Sport open to all 9 th graders. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! There will be an informational meeting this Friday, August 16 th, @ 2: 20 in Room #F 220 for all freshmen interested in playing during the fall season. Freshman tennis practices officially begin on Monday, August 26 th, at 2: 30 PM. All students who wish to participate must have a completed athletic packet, including physical, on file with the athletic department. Our Varsity Girls Tennis Program is the winningest sport at Basha over the past 7 years, with a record of 72 wins and 20 losses. During that time, we’ve won 4 Region Championships!
