Welcoming to Room 114 �Have appropriate uniform and appearance (shirts tucked in, etc. ) �Find desk and sit. �Begin “Do Now” assignment immediately.
Do Now and Homework • • • Complete “Do Now” Twitter assignment immediately upon entering class. Raise hand when done to be “verified” by Mr. Hatt Turn in HW afterwards to appropriate bin.
Announcements! � For the “Pledge of Allegiance, ” all students will stand either choose to recite or stand silently in respect. � Once over, students will sit without speaking until announcements have concluded. � Silence allows not only students, but myself as well, to hear important and relevant
Rules for Class Order for Learning! � Have all materials necessary for class. � Raise hand to answer, ask, or make a request. � Remain silent while I, classmates, or guests are speaking. � Respect our space by throwing all trash away! � Have a positive attitude!
Procedure for Active Listening �When I raise my hand, that is the signal that all conversations need to cease so we can begin a lesson, hear instructions, or ask questions. The longer it takes to be quiet, the more that is assigned for HW.
No cell phone use, including myself.
Be calm, cool, and collected at all times!
Fire Drill Procedure � When alarm sounds, exit the room and turn left towards main office. � Proceed out main doors and across the street. � Stand together at designated spot. � Wait for me to take role and proceed back into the building once we have been given clearance.
Assemblies � When room is called, leave out in orderly manner, single-filed. � Wait at end of hallway for me to catch up. � Walk outside and to foyer to sit. � Stay together and exude positive behavior throughout! � I like to have the best behaved class each time, and I usually reward your effort!
Exiting the Classroom! �Write down or place assigned HW in binder. �Put away any materials used during class. �Have Pop Quizsticks out to earn points! �Dismiss and enjoy the rest of your day!
