Mr. Cop’s First-Aid and CPR Class Rules and Regulations
Class Rules: Be Respectful! Try Your Best! (Even though it means you DO NOT deserve an A)
Class Regulations: No Cell Phones in Class! (unless it’s part of an activity) First time warning and loss of 4 points. Second time I take it and you lose all points from your participation grade. Third Time You will be written up.
No Food/Drink in class! First time Warning and loss of 4 points. Second time I take it and you lose all points from your participation grade.
Be an adult about the bathroom You have time before and after class to use the bathroom, and if it is truly necessary, you may go during “mental break” time…Do not ask to go during instruction!
Please, Please… Do not talk when I am talking or when another student is talking!

“Cop Constructs” Derived from combination of article and “Ted Talks” 30/5/30 30 minutes of instruction 5 minutes of “mental break” (text, talk to your friends, use the bathroom, whatever…you must get out of your seat) 30 minutes of project stations to spring curiosity and learning your way
Class Procedure First 5 minutes: Grab your white board answer the warm-up questions AS A GROUP! Last 5 minutes: ASK QUESTIONS! To the teacher and to other group members. Use this time to ask questions to reinforce what it is you learned today.
