Summary Students with exceptional learning deserve an opportunity receive a proper education. Some students will be allowed to remain in a normal classroom with another teacher that will work with them. This is called inclusion and many times the other student will not know who might struggling and in need of special assistance. These teachers will assist all the students and will focus on those they are assigned to when extra assistance is needed. Special education classrooms should be a safe place for students with exceptional learning circumstances. This classroom should be set up for optimum learning. The students should not feel overwhelmed with the surroundings. Things can be added once the students show they are comfortable with little change. Maintaining a routine for the students is key for a calm and organize classroom. Some of these kids will not adapt to sudden change and will tend to act out. These students can learn but may be at a slower rate. Patience will be a great attribute for teachers with special education students. These student deserve an education and I intend to give them one to the best of my ability.
