Where do you stand? To be considered a junior for the 2013 – 2014 school year, a student must have accrued a minimum of 22 credits prior to the start of the school year. ◦ Students with less than 22 credits will be: Reclassified as sophomores; Will not be eligible for Junior level classes –including TA spots; Be assigned a new counselor. This is non-negotiable
Evaluation of credits Based upon information from your transcript, earned credits are marked on a credit evaluation sheet.
Reading the Credit Evaluation Sheet A listed credit marked with check mark or the name of the class has already been earned. I did not mark the courses you are currently in. You can mark those with a circle if you would like. Anything left unmarked is a credit still needed.

Let’s talk about math… Some of you are looking at Junior year as the year without math; however, I would encourage you to keep going! Some of you don’t have the wiggle room to take a year off- are you missing a semester of algebra or geometry? You can always retake a class to improve your grade or GPA. Push yourself! Colleges love RIGOR!!!!
Also why to take math and & science! Next year you will take the SAT and taking math and chemistry will have you on the right track to have great scores for the ACT or SAT!!! Just imagine how much you forget over a weekend or the summer. Do you want to take your SAT with a year off of math? Pathways to success are important. Four years of math and science are just as important as four years of English.
