*Mount Uludağ is one of the ski resorts of Turkey. *It is located in the South Marmara Region.

*It takes you 3 or 4 hours by car. *Another choise is to drive to Bostanci and then take a ferry to Yalova

*Mount Uludağ is a National Park. *Mount Uludağ is the highest mountain of Marmara Region. Its highest peak is Kartaltepe at 2, 543 m

*It is a popular center for winter sports. skiing snow biking snow boarding heli skiing

*You can go for a walk an a snow-covered path among the palm trees with your friends. *At the end of walking, you can have a rest on the way to cafes or restaurants and have a cup of tea.

Trekking and Camping *There are many suitable places in Uludağ for camping and visiting in the summer and winter. *Karabelen, Kirazlıyayla and Sarıalan are used for one- day usage aera by the summer visitors, You can do barbecue here.

*The most suitable skiing time from December to the end of February. The average snow thickness is 3 m in winter.

What about accommodation ! *There are 27 hotels , 3000 beds. It also has shopping centers, restaurants, cafes, bars , discos and health centre, of course. Accommodation here is not problem if you book before.

*If you do not know how to ski , do not worry. There a lot of ski-trainers here

FINALLY!!! *Do not forget trying the wonderful chestnut sweet ! *In Bursa and have a bath in Thermal Baths. I definetely advise you !
