How can be motion be described? Motion -can be described by change in position relative to a point of reference. -can be measured and represented on a graph -can be described by its speed and the direction in which it is moving

Motion Vocabulary. Acceleration-speeding up, slowing down or changing direction Speed- a measure of how fast an object moves Velocity- describes both the speed and direction

Reference point. This can be considered the point of origin. It can also mean a place for measurement from one point to another.
