Put questions in chat box If I can’t answer your question during the class, I will answer it after it (sometimes we are busy and I don’t see the question until later) I can see and hear you even when I don’t see you (like when I am doing Kahoot or another website like Padlet. com). I tape all classes and have transcripts of chats. Classes are mandatory and attendance is taken and counts. Email if you can’t attend. Do NOT mute anyone or send them out of the class.

Grades: The 1 st 9 weeks report cards are being mailed Friday. For those of you that didn’t get the grade you wanted, your goal should be to do better during this 2 nd 9 weeks. Grades are Always on Infinite Campus though.

Student Online Work hours: Monday-Friday. 4 hours per day 1 hour per core class. Canvas- We are doing work in canvas. Please remember, you can not just go to the “To do” list or to the Canvas calendar. This is not right and doesn’t include half of the things you need to do well in the class. You also need to go in order in the module. It may help people to print out the Agenda and mark out things as they complete them.

Directions For Canvas, Do NOT just go to the To do list. It is wrong and missing information. Click on your class, then click on module. You go through each module by reading and doing what is on each page. If you need to submit an assignment, do that in Canvas. It is important to READ each page and see what it says. Sometimes there is just important information you will need to read that will help you on the upcoming quiz or test. Do everything in order!

Late Assignments: • Follow the weekly Agenda. All work should be done by Friday. I give you until Saturday as an extra day in case you get behind. However, there is no reason you shouldn’t have the work done by Friday if you are spending 1 hour per day Monday-Friday on Science. • I am now taking off points for late work. • I really shouldn’t have to call, email, text, remind message, etc every week to tell you things are past due. • After 1 extra week, I will not accept any late work even for points off. Therefore, it will be locked in Canvas. • If you are turning in a late assignment, you need to email me so that I make sure I check it and change the grade in Infinite Campus. I spend most of my time on current work and do not look back unless someone tells me they have completed something late.

Important Things to Remember during Unit 2 Atomic Structure and the Periodic Table • You do not need to memorize the periodic table. • Need to know what the letters and number mean. Atomic #, Atomic mass, where are protons, neutrons, electrons. • Periodic Table can be used on Test. I put one on Canvas. • Nucleus= protons and neutrons and is extremely small. The Electron cloud is much larger. • Electrons are not part of atomic mass because they do not weigh much.

Check my web page every day or 2. In Ed. Puzzle, some people have 2 accounts. I am going to delete the one that is used less often. These are the people with 2 accounts: Tranisha, Elise, Jaliyah, Braci, Jayla, Jon’Elle, Evan, and Anime man the cool guy will also be deleted. Everyone should have the Unit 1 post test and the Unit 2 Pre test finished. However, everyone is NOT finished. This needs to be done today!!! This should have been done on Monday! Today is yearbook picture day from 1: 00 -3: 00 here at ARJ.
