Designed to establish “Koinonia” with men During this 12 week study, we will examine the life experiences of Jacob (Genesis 25 -35). As we explore these five concepts; Forgiveness, Accountability, Integrity, Trust, and Healing, for it is with the hope of healing the brokenhearted, proclaiming release to those in captivity, recovery of sight to those who are blind, and to release those who are oppressed” (Luke 4: 18).

Basic Definitions: Forgiveness � Forgiveness- a decision to let go of resentment and thoughts of revenge. By embracing forgiveness, you can also embrace peace, hope, gratitude and joy. Consider how forgiveness can lead you down the path of physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. � Results forgiveness can bring: Healthier Relationships; Greater Spiritual and Psychological Well-Being; Lower Blood Pressure; Fewer Symptoms of Depression; Lower Risk of Alcohol and Substance Abuse

Basic Definitions: Accountable Accountability- The obligation to bear the consequences for failure to perform as expected. Answerable. To whom are you accountable? Is the accountability for a married man the same/different for a single man?

Basic Definition: Integrity-The state of being unimpaired, soundness. The quality or condition of being whole or undivided; completeness.

Basic Definition : Truth- Conformity to fact or actuality. A statement proven to be or accepted as true. Sincerity; integrity.

Basic Definition : Health Health- The overall condition of an organism at a given time. Soundness, especially of body or mind; freedom from disease or abnormality. A condition of optional well-being.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT Each man has value and is to be respected at all times. Each man has a voice and his contributions are necessary for our growth in community. We will break bread weekly then enter our study. Each man will have a personal journal of which to enter reflection and or questions during the week. Prayer a required activity of each man.
