The General Measure of Enterprising Tendency (GET) Test • The test was developed in 1987 -1988 by Prof. Sally Caird and Mr. Cliff Johnson at Durham University Business School • The basic premise of GET Test is that the enterprising person shares entrepreneurial characteristics, and that these characteristics may be nurtured via educational and training, and assessed. 2021/2/25 (C) Takeru Ohe 2
The enterprising person has entrepreneurial characteristics • An enterprising tendency is defined as the tendency to start up and manage projects. • The enterprising person may be – an entrepreneur, – an intrapreneur (working within organizations) – A voluntrapreneur (sets up and leads voluntary projects in the community. 2021/2/25 (C) Takeru Ohe 3
