Business Communication It is a basic process from where all the other functions of the organization derive. The efficient communication exchange is fundamental to a sustainable relationship and for the achievement of organizational goals. Communication is what keeps internal processes efficient and helps to obtain positive relations with external clients. Reduces error rate and conflicts but raises viability of the organization. It influences job satisfaction and better performance of the employees.

Research A multinational company based in Eastern Europe More than 55 nationalities Total of 372 employees Male employees (49%) and Female employees (51%) Branch offices are in Europe, Asia, and the United States Primary data from 124 employees (33%) to analyze the influence of technology on team communication.

Findings Technological advancement helps employees in different destinations to communicate quickly (73%). However, due to various reasons miscommunication and misunderstanding often emerge (80%). Further physical barriers exist in the sample organization taken for the study. Time difference and distance are the highest to be highlighted (29%) followed by noise (27%) and environment & climate (19%), workplace design (15%) and Technical issues (10%). Although technology has become part of our lives, reduced face-to-face interactions with peers, resulting in social isolation. 82% of respondents responded that their preferred style of communication is informal and casual.
Recommendations Technology is an excellent tool to make team communication effective. However, in order to increase personal effectiveness and develop the personal potential of business owners, it is evident to have Have an open-door policy. It builds trust among employees. Encourage two-way feedback. Appreciate individual strengths and make use of them well. Be clear about tasks and goals so as to individual knows their commitment and responsibility. Use an appropriate platform for communication and take advantage of technological advancement. Obtain and or allow communication training for development. Understand diversity issues in multicultural settings. Encourage face-to-face communication or other informal communication ways to avoid social isolation. The above, but not limited to, are the stepping stones to encourage to pay attention to. If not, it could eventually affect the mental well-being of employees and in turn, it will question the organizational visibility and stability.
