First: Moderate Consumption of Food and Drink: Is lam's view on food and drinks, which is essential for life, is based on moderation. It allows man to enjoy food and drinks to the extent there is no extravagance or vanity, and it encourages him to take what his body needs, because this will maintain his body and make him more capable of worship. Allah, glory be to Him, guides in His saying : (and eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He likes not those who commit excess) Furthermore, the Prophet, peace be upon him, advised us when eating to leave one third of one's stomach for drink and one third for air.
