What you said we did well • The good nature of teacher and pupil relationships. • It's a very understanding school with great teachers who make the children very comfortable in their surroundings. • It is also very good with children with different needs and works along side the parents every day. • Location and SEN unit staff. • Multi - cultural, teachers and Principal have time to listen to your concerns. • Relaxed. Diversity. Honest.

What you said we do well • Inclusiveness approachability • Integrated school, children are welcomed, educational progress has been good throughout primary one and nursery. • Sudden change in teacher very recently has been managed well and my child has changed in a positive way since the change. • The overall regard for everyone’s individuality, religion, culture and disability. The recent Showtime was a great example of this overall inclusion. • Inclusive in nature, close knit and positive. Children are encouraged to be the best they can be. Small school as a whole meaning children receive more attention especially if they have additional needs. • Children with additional needs are integrated into classes meaning those without additional needs learn that other children sometimes learn differently. • Integration

How we should develop over the next three years • Just the school building

How we should develop over the next three years • Just the school building The building definitely needs development. • More after school clubs choices for the older children. At the minute it's limited in comparison to younger years in the school with a distinct lack of creative clubs. • I would like the school to have the necessary physical enhancements to the old school building. The school building requires a lot of repair, the EA needs to prioritise financial support to the school to address repairs. Needs a lick of paint and the girls toilets need fixed up I would like to see the school get a new purpose built sports hall. To get more funding from government don't think they get enough. • Much needed repairs and maintenance carried out as its not fair on the pupils. really hope Stormont gets up and running so the Model gets the much needed funding it so deserves.

How we should develop over the next three years • I feel that at

How we should develop over the next three years • I feel that at times my child could be pushed a little more from an academic perspective • More understanding of ASD in girls and how they mask in the school environment. Help with recognising depression and anxiety in pupils • Maybe more than 1 parent teacher meeting a year Increase transfer test prep in P 6 and P 7 and more related homework. • Keep up the after schools service, would love to see more arts being incorporated into school day, keep the focus on being kind and very much against bullying and isolation.
