Consultations/Decisions – LM & Other 216 -222 MHz (216 -220/220 -222 MHz) – Possible consultation on parts or all of the band – SRSP revisions possible to facilitate a range of mobile and fixed applications Amateur 5 MHz (60 m) – SMSE-010 -12 – Amateur use of 6 channels in the 5 MHz range – Consultation released May 12; comments were received June 12, 2012 – 47 comments received from – Individual radio amateurs – Amateur clubs – Emergency Management BC – RAC – Decision is waiting for Ministerial approval 2
SRSPs SRSP-500 (VHF) – Include corrections and update format/language – Internal review ongoing; next draft to RABC in early 2014 – To be published in 2014 SRSP-502 (800 MHz) – Published in November 2013 SRSP-511 (700 MHz NB PS) – Removal of the provisions for sharing with broadcasting, corrections and clarification – For RABC 2014 (after close of SRSP-500) New SRSP-516 (WCS in 2300 MHz) – RABC review completed; Final approval process began in June 2013; Editorial modifications made following internal review – To be published early 2014 3
