Spatial data occupies geographic space, it has specific locations according to some world geographic referencing system, such as latitude-longitude Slide 8

Types of GIS Spatial Data Mobile GIS themes are usually stored as point, line, or polygon features data file, so the type of feature must be declared so that the GIS can properly identify and manage the data, for example line feature should not be confused with one side of a polygon. Slide 11
