INTRODUCTION
OBJECTIVES • Provide a mobile based solution for campus navigation inside UOC, which will contain all the details, in order to help the students and visitors to reach their desired locations without any inconvenience. • Implement a special mechanism using QR codes to avoid inconveniences caused due to unavailability of campus officials (lecturers, department heads etc. ) • Provide an efficient way to determine indoor positions by using a special indoor location tracking method using 2 D maps, when GPS signals become weak

1. NAVIGATION ASSISTANCE INSIDE THE CAMPUS • Users can navigate through the campus via guidance given by the AR browser.
• They can browse buildings, locations etc. or search for locations.
• For different situations while navigating on campus there has to be separated views (AR view, Map view, List view)
2. FINDING A PERSON OF INTEREST q User phase: Help users to check the person of interest’s information and his/her availability. Switch to QR scan mode and scan the code
q Officials’ phase: Log in to the application to update basic details, daily schedule, timetable, meetings
3. FINDING LOCATIONS INSIDE THE BUILDINGS WHEN GPS SIGNALS ARE WEAK q Give the possibility to use the application, indoors. q Combination of 2 D Maps and LLA marker scanning is used experience the support of a navigation helper even inside buildings.
