1. The process of influencing behaviour towards a desired ideal. 2. Describing the treatment which is going to be performed, then visually demonstrating it, followed by performing on the child. 3. The strengthening of a pattern of behaviour which increases the probability that the behaviour will be displayed in future. 4. A three-stage process: first training the patient to relax; second, constructing a hierarchy of fear-producing stimuli related to the patient’s principal fear; and third, introducing the stimulus in the relaxed patient until it causes no fear. 5. Letting a child watch another child have dental treatment to show that there is nothing for them to fear.

• GTN 400 micrograms per actuation • Salbutamol 2 -4 puffs ( 100 microgram per puff) • Adrenaline 0. 5 mg ( 0. 5 ml of 1: 1000 adr) • Midazolam 10 mg or 5 mg • Glucagon 1 mg
• Patient who has long standing fit • Patient has tetracycline placed for perio, suddenly face flushes and stridor • Pt walks into surgery 10 minutes late, chest pain and breathing problems
