Rape Crisis National Helpline 0808 802 9999 / Everyday 12 – 2. 30 and 7 – 9. 30 pm n Confidential freephone helpline for female callers 14+. n Open Every Day of the Year from 12 – 2. 30 and 7 – 9. 30 and weekdays from 3 -5. 30. n Offers specialist emotional support and practical information. n All helpline workers receive accredited training in providing specialist support to survivors of sexual violence. n Provides support and information to: female survivors, partners, family, friends, other support agencies.

Independent Domestic Violence Advocate RASASC Advocacy (IDVA) n Fully qualified IDVA specialising in sexual violence, based at the Family Justice Centre in Croydon. n Provides specialist emotional and practical information and support for women experiencing domestic violence. n Open for drop-in and appointments every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 am - 4 pm. n Offers direct links into specialist counselling at RASASC. Prevention and Training Specialist Sexual Violence Training and Prevention n Provide specialist training to multi-agency professionals across London. n Training themes include; rape, childhood sexual abuse and exploitation, impacts and responses, the Criminal Justice System and support on how to respond to disclosures. n Provide specialist training to teachers and youth professionals who are working directly with young people. n Deliver prevention work in schools and youth settings focusing on gender, consent, coercion and sexualisation. n Delivered by qualified trainers who are also accredited front-line support practitioners.
