Miss Hopkins My name is Miss Katie Hopkins, and I will be your child’s teacher this year! This is my 13 th year teaching at Peirce School! I taught 4 years in Kindergarten, and this will be my 9 th in Preschool. I am originally from Ohio where I attended the University of Mount Union, and received my B. A. in Early Childhood Education and Art. I attended Concordia University of Chicago to obtain my M. A. in Reading as a Reading Specialist. In my free time I love to workout, travel, and visit with family and friends! This summer I completed my 1 st triathlon! Miss Santiago My name is Miss Michelle Santiago. This is my fifth year at Peirce School. I first started as a sub clerk working in the office, and then became a teacher assistant in Preschool. I love working with children and helping them build their foundation in education. I have two boys named Daniel (12) and Michali (10). They also attend Peirce. I grew up in the Humboldt Park area in Chicago. I have a twin brother named David, and we have always been close since we were little!
