What is the minty pi? ■ The minty pi, is a handheld Retro game emulator, that is made out of a tin can and 3 D printed parts, it uses a Raspberry Pi Zero W, as well as a bunch of really cheap parts
What did we learn from the project? ■ Sadly, we did not get to finish the project due to some parts that did not come in ■ We both learned a lot about the raspberry pi, and how to setup Images onto the PI itself ■ We also learned a lot about 3 d printing, as for the build they give you the STL files for printing
3 D Printing ■ For the project, we both had to 3 D print parts, but since we didn’t have a 3 D printer for a little bit, we asked max aitken academy to see if they could 3 D print some of our parts ■ Some of the parts didn’t turn out as we thought they would, so once we got a 3 D printer in our makerspace, we took it to use! And they turned out way better!!
Software ■ Just like Warren’s Arcade Machine, our project use’s the Retro. Pi Image, and it works the exact same way, coding and all, except in a smaller compact device
Summary ■ Sadly, we did not get to finish this project! But as soon as the part we need comes in we are going to finish the project! ■ Here is a video showcasing the minty pi https: //www. youtube. com/watch? v=c. QC 2 Tv. R 6 ui. U
