In NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde we have • 4 ‘stand alone’ MIUs • New Stobhill Hospital • New Victoria Hospital • Vale of Leven Hospital • West Glasgow Ambulatory Care Hospital (from June 2015 until December 2016) §Patients with minor injuries are also seen in all the Emergency Departments in §Glasgow Royal Infirmary §Queen Elizabeth University Hospital §Royal Hospital for Children §Royal Alexandra Hospital §Inverclyde Royal Hospital

Age Profile / Demographics During 2016, the West Glasgow MIU had 11, 200 attendances. The total number of attendances from the West ‘catchment area’ in all of the MIU/A&E facilities was 41, 700. . The age profile is broadly similar with the main difference being the under 16 years.
