What is Mn. CMAT? The Minnesota Crash Mapping Analysis Tool (Mn. CMAT) is an online application to help traffic safety professionals easily retrieve and analyze crash data. Each crash is plotted on a map which allows the user to visually view the location of the crash. 2

Approval forms for use
Steps to gain access to Mn. CMAT • County or city engineer submits approval form to mncmat. dot@state. mn. us • User submits request for an account by completing the following: • Go to Mn. CMAT webpage • Click on “Mn. CMAT Program” • Click on “Request Access” • Enter information to request access and click “Ok” to submit • Account will be activated once above steps are complete 6
